I know who reported my Makishima pic and honestly, take your ignorant ass and stop watching me if you're "tender sensibilities" are so fragile. Ain't nobody got time for that.

It's been such a long time since I've exhausted myself this badly. I can't even say I caught con plague because I'm actually not sick with anything, my body just absolutely drained itself of any and all energy. That being said, this AUSA is the best con I have ever been to in the history of any con I've been to! After many years of year being online friends, we finally got to meet and have her stay with us for the weekend which was super fun!

Most of the weekend consisted of casual cosplays (I wore Tink for a few hours on Friday but she was just giving me too much trouble for such a small con so I switched into Sly Blue) but I was totally fine with that. and I finally cosplayed one of my major OTP's together on Saturday and got to do Alois and Claude together so that made me happy <3 That evening we also went to the most amazing concert ever where we got to see Kaya/Scwarz Stein. Ugh, what an amazing performance, I'm still blown away. Kaya had a little incident on stage where his high heel broke and he toppled over but he was still graceful and cute as ever and gave the audience a little time to chat with Hora which was nice. Later that night we also went to Tatum's hilarious 18+ panel where he and Pitch spent some time on stage discussing their relationships (Tatum called me a hot ass girlfriend, that's pretty high praise coming from Sebastian if I may say so myself), had a flex off, and then I got to go up on stage for a while where he spent about 20 minutes discussing weeaboo stories, it was fantastic.

Sunday takes the cake though, where we got to have tea with Kaya. He was so sweet and funny. When he sat down at the table with us the first thing he said to me (completely unprompted) was "Oh, Ariel!"....so Kaya has confirmed me as mermaid, I really don't know much else I could ask for. We also got several cute pictures with him and autographs. I honestly can't imagine what else could top this AUSA because it was just so perfect. So many wonderful friends to spend time with, lots of things to do, no drama, all fun. It was totally worth getting this exhaustion over!!

But now, since I have exactly a month before Nekocon, I need to get to work on finishing  Jareth and Sarah so that I'm not crunching. At least Sarah is like 50% done at this point! We'll have to see if Nekocon can live up to the amazingness that was AUSA!

lol at it almost being 2 years since my last journal here. I've still been constantly working on cosplays (not so much digital art because I've been busy with real life comissions but I really want to get back into digital stuff!) but just haven't really touched DA at all. Can't necessarily say I'm trying to heavily get back into it but I don't want this account to entirely die yet.

AUSA is coming up soon and FOR ONCE I am all finished with my stuff (still have some stuff to make for though). I'm mostly preparing for Katsu since I have some huge things to work on....especially since Pitch will finally be cosplaying Jareth for me and I can't wait to be all over that. So yeah. Not dead, still cosplaying, Pitch and I are still nerds, and we own a poodle now! Gonna try not to wait another 2 years before updating and uploading stuff :3
